Even in these unprecedented times, Beach Tennis UK managed to run the 8th British Beach Tennis Championships. This time the event was held at their new venue in Poole. With Covid-19 measures in place and Bournemouth Councils support, the event was a huge success. The headline from this tournament was Poole players winning the Men’s Doubles event.
As ever the tournament was under the watchful eye of our long-standing referee Gill Andersson, who always does an excellent job refereeing Beach Tennis Tournaments. We were very lucky with the last of the summer warm weather, in the beautiful surroundings of Canford Cliffs.
Great to see so many new players in the tournament, a good standard of matches all around.
Well done to all the winners and runners up of the Men’s, Women’s and Mixed Doubles
